Introducing Bassify

Bassify is an Ableton Audio Effect Rack series that allows you to change your voice, your drums, or any sample into a crunchy juicy bass sound.

What's the big difference between the two versions?
Not only are both racks comprised of different effects under the hood, but both racks actually sound quite different.

Bassify (Ableton Stock FX Version)

  • heavier, meaner, grittier sound
  • 8+ FX knobs to help shape your unique bass sound
  • 20 built in custom dialed-in presets

Bassify (Serum FX Version)

  • wubbier, wetter (slightly), vowel focused sound
  • 14+ FX knobs to help shape your bass to taste
  • 20 built in custom dialed-in presets
  • Serum FX (VST version) required

IMPORTANT:

  • Both versions of the rack use Envelope Follower (Max 4 Live) to work. Please make sure you have that installed before purchasing.
    • "Note: the Envelope Follower effect is not available in the Lite, Intro or Standard Editions unless you have Live Standard with a Max for Live license." - Ableton website
  • Both racks require the latest version of Ableton Live 12 Suite to run. The racks won't work on older versions.

RACKS:

Bassify (Ableton Stock FX Version)

*Latest version of Ableton Live 12 Suite required

Bassify (Serum FX Version)

*Latest version of Ableton Live 12 Suite and Serum FX required

Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ]

What genres can I use these racks for?
Both racks work great for any bass music genre: Dubstep, Riddim, Drum & Bass, House, Mid-Tempo, Trap, etc.

Are the basses mix-ready?
Yes! The chains have been cleaned, processed, and mixed to sound great right away.

I don't have Ableton Live 12, how can I use Bassify in a different DAW?
Currently, the Bassify Audio Effect Racks are only available for Ableton Live 12 Suite. However, I am working on turning 'Bassify' into a standalone VST plug-in. Stay tuned on my socials for more updates and information.

Troubleshooting (Common Issues)

[SerumFX & Stock] I get an error message on the bottom Status Bar of Ableton (typically in Orange) that says "Only audio effects can be placed in this kind of track".
This likely means you are opening this in Ableton 11/10 or below, or an earlier version of Ableton Live 12 Suite. These racks are made in and built for the latest version of Ableton Live 12 Suite (not Standard nor Lite).

[SerumFX only] Some of the knobs are greyed out and the output sounds distorted and unpleasant.
This likely means that SerumFX is disabled or missing. Make sure you have SerumFX VST (VST2 not VST3) enabled. Often times this can be solved by going into Live > Settings > Plug-Ins > Use VST2 Plug-In System Folders [TURN THIS ON].

REMINDER:
UPDATE ABLETON TO LATEST VERSION BEFORE USING OR ELSE RACKS WONT WORK
